Its been a busy few days with 9 courses played over a 2 week period. In the spirit of the challenge, have decided to compile a bunch of course highlights and awards to reward the progress.
1. Best Opening Hole
Steve – The 1st at Swinley Forest, full panoramic view of the course challenge ahead.
Geoff – The 1st at St George’s Hill. Par 4 played over a road from an elevated tee outside the clubhouse.
2. Most Difficult Hole
Steve – The 7th at Ganton. Sharp dogleg par 4 played uphill to a green well protected by bunkers. This hole sorted me out.
Geoff – The 9th hole on the less heralded Green course at St George’s Hill. Short Par 4 with extremely narrow tee short with approach played onto a well protected elevated green. Though could be down to tiredness as 27 holes already played concurrently that day!
3. Best Closing Hole
Steve – Ganton (Dogleg Par 4 left over a road to green in front of clubhouse) followed closely by Swinley Forest.
