There maybe trouble ahead…..

I’m not a great golfer or an esteemed writer but I can safely say that the Hotchkin course in Woodhall Spa is one tough golf course. Perfectly manicured fairways surrounded by thick heather and some of the deepest penal bunkers you’re likely to see.  Its perhaps a disservice to say but the course is like a hybrid of Ganton and St George’s Hill, fairly isolated in the English countryside but close to our base in Belton Woods. Weather forecast was grim for the day but our luck held out once again and bright blue skies prevailed. Again we were warmly welcomed by the Pro Shop and told we basically had the Hotchkin to ourselves. So after a few putts on the practise green we were ready to go for our third course in the challenge.
